Equipping Parents for the Journey

As your child embarks on their educational journey at FCA, we desire to come alongside you—not only in the education of your child, but in your growth as a parent.

Through meaningful relationships, ongoing learning opportunities, and active participation in school life, we seek to equip and encourage parents to confidently embrace their role in the formation of their children.

Connected in Community

Parenting was never meant to be done alone. From your first days at FCA, you will be welcomed into a community of families walking a similar path. Our teachers, administrators, and staff are eager to guide, support, and answer your questions along the way.

New families are paired with mentor families who provide encouragement, practical support, and a friendly connection during the year. Grade-level Class Parents help keep families informed and connected within their child's classroom community, while school-wide events create opportunities for fellowship, fun, and meaningful relationships.

At FCA, there is no shortage of opportunities to find your people—a community of families who learn, grow, and journey together.

Growing in Understanding

Many parents in our community were not classically educated themselves. We offer consistent opportunities to participate in learning that will enrich and deepen your participation and understanding of the ideas that shape the education of your child.

Through parent training opportunities, our monthly Coffee and Conversation discussion group, chapels, our yearly Reignite conference, and special events, families have many opportunities to gain a deeper understanding of the ideas, practices, and purposes that shape their children's education.

Participating in School Life

We believe children thrive when parents and educators work in partnership, which is why parents not only play a vital role on Tuesday and Thursday, but also in the life of FCA on campus.

Through service opportunities—in the classroom and at recess, fine arts, facilities, and special events—families contribute their gifts while building relationships that strengthen our community. Service is not simply a requirement at FCA; it is one of the ways we learn, grow, and flourish together.

Our commitment is to equip, encourage, and walk alongside families as together we cultivate wisdom, virtue, and wonder.
