Beginning the 2011-2012 school year, Faith Christian Academy has entered into a partnership with Central Christian College of Kansas (CCC) to begin offering several classes for dual-credit. Central Christian College is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and is a member of the North Central Association.
In this program, students can earn both high school and college credit at the same time with a reduced college tuition rate. Dual-credit classes offered to juniors and seniors beginning the 2011-2012 school year are:
• Anatomy & Physiology
• Chemistry
• Classical Literature
• Political Theory/Civics
• Rhetoric I
• Rhetoric II
• Trigonometry
• Worldview III
• Worldview IV
Dual-credit classes are offered simultaneously with regular classes. They are taught on the FCA campus by FCA teachers who serve as adjunct faculty with CCC. Students enrolling in the above courses will be charged an additional tuition fee of $65 per credit hour and will pay FCA.
